This is Tuesday 31 January and Shirley talked to Mary this
afternoon and puppies were in great condition after their trip to
the Vet for tails and dew claws. All have gained back to birth
weight and are gaining more. Mother is great and her second
litter and is doing all the right things. Not sure if father
has been in yet but was just super with the lsat litter. Not
sure how many reservations Mary has but there should be show and pet
puppies in the litter as Shirley was very happy with all the last
litter. Both parents are Champions and excellent condition.
Can contact Mary at 724-880-1747 or e-mail
simpleindulgence@hotmail.com. I will keep adding some news
as I get it.
Sunday Jan. 29 and Mary worked a lot and sent more pictures
today. I spent hours yesterday tying to get Gigi and her
puppies down to size and put them on but had no success. Saw
the Geek's today and some help but the new pictures were able to get
processed and here they are. Mother and kids are all doing
great and Mary is spending all her hours in the box. They look
beautiful.
This is Saturday morning and Mary's puppies were born Friday
evening. She had a very normal delivery with 5 boys and 3
girls. I will hope for a picture when they all get rested as
Mary stayed up for most of 48 hours before she started to contract
and deliver.
This is day 23 January and we have a cloudy rainy day. It
should be better tomorrow but just trying to keep warm and everyone
happy. Brooke sent a note and a few snap shots of Landon in
the snow. They are nine months and he is looking good.
She did a great job on the ears and is looking forward to the summer
and some shows. Shirley talked to Mary and she had the
X-ray on Gigi today and she is having nine puppies - should be the
end of this week. That is what they had last year and hoping
all goes well. Will keep you informed on what she has.
This is Saturday and I have a cute puppy picture to wish
everyone a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012. It looks like a quiet few
days and not much stormy weather for a few days. Hope everyone
and their doggies are in good spirits and enjoy a good Sauerkraut
and Pork dinner to celebrate.
I just did it but it is nothing like I was told or the way I did
it with the old computer and program. The two dogs below are
Flicker on top and Pebbles below taken in the fall a the Bloomsburg
show outside in the cold and not the best pictures and Shirley said
I was not to put them on but I just have not been able to get good
ones or do not have the camera when I need it. Missed getting
the four when we were at Sue Ann's two weeks ago when Colleen was
there and they all looked great. Will keep at it and try to
get in the habit of doing more.
Still trying to get some of the pages transferred to the web site
and lt has been quite a trip. Talked to the server and more
money and I have to find out how I can do it myself and I am just
too dumb and cannot find the old dictions.
This is 24 December and we wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS. May
have missed sending some cards but this is to everyone. Herd from
all the Harbor puppies and all are doing wonderful in loving homes
and the pictures they send look great. Will try to get more on
later.
Finally after days of trying to get the picture of Querva jumping
at the National. With the change to 7 and all the new
requirements of the server -- plus great expense for the nohow I am
somewhat allowed to do more. Sue Ann is always active and
trains all the time so we get new activities. Shirley is
getting back to normal and the operation was a help and is back to a
two month check.
This is 7 December -- PEARL HARBOR DAY -- and Shirley and I both
remember it so very well but seems almost forgotten by everyone.
Cold and rainy day here and they are talking like some snow for the
season. I have been trying to get something on the site but
still having a lot of problems with pictures and all the new
programs. We do have some good news from Sue Ann. Querva
and Flint had their annual cardio check up and they were both
PERFECT and the vets gave them both great temperament praise.
Querva is almost 7 which is great and just a base for Flint at
two. Will try more later.
.
This is 23 November and HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE.
Below is a picture of Breaker when he finished his championship with
Ann in Springfield IL this fall. Ann and Jim really liked him
and he looks great == very standard in size and nice short back.
Colleen had Flicker at the Columbus shows last weekend. She
took her dclass every day and had a lot of comments but as just 6
mo. did not do any winning. I have some -- not so grreat snap
shots of the two girls which I may get on. Hope to have more
time and learn a little more of the new equipment.
17 November and I hope we are back to normal. I have spent
a lot of time and money trying to get things back to where I can
work the site. Just problems working with the Geek's and the
Server -- they do not communicate -- but hope it will all be back to
where I can figure it all out. More later.
BACK ON LINE
Hi this is Saturday 12 November and after weeks of not having internet
connection I am finally on and I will try to get things up to date,
but it will take a little time.
This is 26 August and Michael finally got Querva's picture to me
from her win in July. She was High in Trial Doberman at the
show. She keeps doing wins and new titles. Not sure when
she will have them all but Sue Ann keeps her busy and they love it.
It has been a busy time and we are all bracing for the big storm and
Michael and Sue Ann are right in the direct path. Not sure if
they are in the evacuation zone but we are thinking of them and
hoping they pull through with little trouble. We need to get
puppy pictures so maybe next week if we get time. Shows this
weekend but with the weather not sure of what will happen.
Everything is changing.
This is Monday 8 August and Snipers picture of her win at the
Lima show arrived. She looks great and a 4 point major puts
her on her way. Not many shows and so hot all summer but hope
we can get her out. Puppies are growing but also not happy
with the heat and a lot of showers but will get more pictures soon.
This is August 1 and the weekend is over and a foggy morning for
fall. Still warm and lots of outside work to do. Joe and
Cin Dee came in for the shows and both dogs qualified in both shows
and finished. Fever took a second on Friday and a first on
Saturday in Novice B Rally. Volcano qualified both days and
had fun and the crowd loved him in Excellent A Rally. Cannon
was here so got pictures and that is him below at 17 weeks.
Puppies are all on the litter page. Shirley showed Sniper two
days and the judges did not know her so got experience and she did
look great with no problems showing as it was her first time at an
inside show.
Sunday the 17th and it is a hot day - - not to be working
outside. The dogs do not stay out very long but we did get the
15 week pictures of the kids and they are on the Puppy Litter page.
Cannon went home on Thursday and reports are doing fine.
Saturday 9 July and we put the 14 week pictures of the three
puppies still here on the puppy litter page. They are looking
nice growing fast and are keeping that show look. Brown
"Cannon" will be leaving next week but Pebbles and Flicker will be
staying for awhile. No shows for awhile but Shirley may show
Pistol at our show weekend the end of July.
Home in time for dinner Sunday. Judge was looking for
something different. Everyone won their class and showed well
but not what the judge was looking for. A great weekend with
Majors on both the girls.
Just news that Dexter passed his WAC and is working on a ROM.
Also that Snipers win was 4 points with the BOW
Saturday 2 July and FANTASTIC news from Lima. Colleen
took WB and BOW for the Major on her puppy Nasya on Friday.
Today under Vandiver she took WB and BOW for another Major but on
Sniper. Will have a picture in a couple weeks. Not
entered in any more shows but they both seem ready to win.
Sniper was in Open. Dexter was shown by Colleen and looked
great but Gwen was there and took breed over number one Doberman.
Dexter got Championship point and was entered in the WAC test today.
Will let you know what happens tomorrow but super great for the
weekend.
Another week has gone by and they are growing and changing so
fast. Above is a 12 week picture of the Brown collar boy.
He is looking very good -- has grown leg in the past week so a
shorter back and just full of it. The girls are on the puppy
page and are looking great also. They are going to shows next
weekend so I will be alone and no pictures until they get back.
I will keep you posted of any news.
Sorry it has been so long but with the nine little ones, ears and
people coming we were spending most of the energy on the Puppy Page
with weekly updates and pictures. Above is the 11 week picture
of Purple "Sparkle" which Shirley plans to keep right now.
Most of the boys are in new wonderful homes with very loving owners.
This cuts down on my daily ear tapping and have some mowing and
cleaning time. We were very pleased with the litter and feel
they all could be shown. Colleen was happy with the group and
picked out a few for show homes but movement and temperament was all
there.
Sunday 29 and we managed to get the 8 week pictures on the Puppy
Page. We are very happy with the way they are growing.
Ears are at the difficult time as we have to start posting and it is
a daily thing for a week or so. More later.
Sunday 22 and all are doing great. It did not change them
very much. They shake their heads some but stretch tape is off
and no bleeding and they are happy as normal. We just hope
they do not start licking and destroying the cups. Will hope
for at least 10 days and we could start posting. Some should
be ready for new homes in a couple weeks.
This is 21 st and only a few days but they seem to change quite a
bit. We took the 7 week pictures on Friday late as we did ears
today. All went smoothly and things are getting back to
normal. With nine we have a lot of taping and cleaning to get
them all ready for new homes. Maybe not may pictures until we
get them posted. Colleen will be at shows next week but she
hopes to see them at near eight weeks. Pictures on the Puppy
Page
Tuesday 17 and nine pups out for exercise on a RAINY DAY.
Typical spring weather we have been having. We seem to be
surviving but not very happy trying to get things done outside.
This is Monday 16 and I have been putting all the pictures on the
HHH litter Puppy Page. I may see an interesting shot when they
are running outside. I had some computer problems this morning
trying to get Colleen's pictures up. The computer does not
accept certain punctuation so had to make her pictures 65 instead of
6.5. Always problems when you are only an occasional
user.
This is Saturday 7 May and we got the 5 week pictures up and
running and you go to the Puppy Page and click on the HHH litter.
At the very bottom of the page is a listing of "More Pictures" and
click on 5 weeks. Shirley has on the Orange Shirt. The 6
week and more are of another litter not yet changed. Below is
one of the boys.
Thursday 5 May and a sunny day and the kids were out in the yard.
Everyone has been looking for pictures so red collar found a bright
spot. Shirley has been working so we may get some 5 week
pictures on. They all look so much alike but are not willing
to stand still for even a few seconds so will try???
Just got the picture from Michael. Not as sharp as he did
not use the good camera but it shows the finish and both look VERY
HAPPY. A lot of hard work and not many dogs get there.
We are so proud of all Sue Ann puts into the training.
This is Tuesday 26 April and puppies are growing and we are
feeding some to help mother and getting them use to doing their own
thing. A report on the weekend at Timonium. Colleen did
not show in breed on Friday but the obedience dogs did their thing.
Sue Ann took Versatility with Querva and Sally Wolfe won Veteran
Bitch class and Rally Novice B class. Sunday Flint won his
class and Sue Ann finished her UD with Querva -- CONGRATULATIONS.
Hope to have a picture of the win later. Monday Colleen won WD
and WB with Ice Breaker and Miracles Happen to finish the weekend.
This is Saturday 23 April and tomorrow is Easter so we put a
puppy in the Easter Basket. Not too happy but did settle down.
They are getting more active and we started to slop with some yogurt
and formula and they did a great job so will be feeding more
and letting mother some rest. Not sure how Shirley will manage
but may get some setup shots in a week or so. HAPPY
EASTER TO ALL.
This is Monday 18 April and they are growing very fast and I will
try to get more pictures. The weekend was a real bust and was
flooded out. Not sure about the show on Saturday but no Group
judging and the building was flooded and Sunday and Monday was
cancelled. Shirley left early afternoon and water was rising
but not a problem yet.
This is Saturday 9 April and they are a week old and growing very
fast. Some head shots and next week should have some eyes.
Hoping for some warmer weather and a little sun. Surely has
been wet and cloudy.
Here it is 6 April and all are doing great -- NO TAILS. We
did them yesterday and just Shirley and I so it was a little slow
but very smooth -- Shirley says too long but that can be changed if
necessary. Mother is doing a super job and as you can see by
the puppy picture they are fat and lazy.
This is 2 April but the puppies were born on the 1st all nine
just before midnight. All were strong and active and weighed 1
pound approx. Shirley spent a restless night but they
are all nursing and mother is doing her job. Will get some
better pictures this week and there were 7 boys and 2 girls.
It is 31 March and we have most everything ready for Happy.
We can feel the little ones kicking and moving around and just
waiting to get out in the big old world. Everything seems go
and we hope for the weekend sometime. Will post on the news
page and the Puppies HHH litter page.
This is 26 March and it is still wintry here. They hope
some average temps in a couple weeks. Mary sent 4 week
pictures of Gigi's growing group. They all look great and she
is having a ball. We have the whelping box and things pretty
much ready for Happy. Shirley thinks it will be next weekend.
Not sure how many but not expecting too many -- but may be
surprised. She seems pretty uncomfortable but all is very
normal. Will let you know if anything happens.
Saturday 19 March and a report from Louisville. Titan
finished today and Braker took Reserve under Bivin. There was
no major on Thursday and Titan did not come but Colleen had two
reserves. We did not know about Friday but hope for something
on Sunday. Will try to get more specifics tomorrow and a
picture of Titan in a couple weeks.
It is 15 March and Mary is having a ball and the puppies have
eyes open and are almost walking but are responding to each other
and all doing very good. The picture below is a two week quiet
group. She has placed some of the boys and
is planning shots and worming and all the things necessary as they
grow. The next few weeks they change almost every day and
start to show personalities -- really a fun time in there
development.
We are getting the whelping box and things ready for Happy as
she is getting bigger and a little over a week and we will have
puppies too. Weather is getting a little more like Spring but
so much outside work from the long winter. I do have the HHH
litter on the Puppy page and will keep posting there.
Mary has had a very busy week and tails and dew claws done and
everyone is in top condition and gaining. Gigi is eating and
milk has dropped and she is actually getting some sleep as mother
takes over. People interested can get in touch with Mary
Neupaver by e-mail or phone
simpleindulgence@hotmail.com -- 724-880-1747.
Shirley was at the match today and Pistol won the Sweepstakes
and second in the Group behind a cute fuzzy white puppy. A
very small match as the rain and snow storm here in the East was
nasty. Still looking for SPRING.
Picture of Gigi and puppies below. It all happened today
and Mary reporting the procedure it was all very normal. One
big problem was after number eight was born Mary was very concerned
as the Vet said she founded nine and would say she would have ten.
Mary called a local Vet and he X-rayed and Ultrasound Gigi and found
no more puppies. A wonderful litter 4 boys and 4 girls and all
are about one pound and very active and nursing.
It is Wednesday and Mary called. The Vet. counted TEN (10)
and there could be more. Seems everyone will be very busy for
a few months. Gigi is doing fine but Mary's Vet. is having
knee replacements and will be in the Hospital the next few weeks.
Always a few problems. I will post things as we know.
It has been a few weeks but shows are over and the kids all
looked and performed nicely but the power was there and judging not
what we had hopped. On to the next and Mary is getting on edge
and Gigi is below at 8 weeks and Dad is behind. Both are Red
but are pretty dark in the picture. She is scheduled for
an X-ray on Wednesday so we hope to know a round number -- not
always exact. Will try to let you know what is happening as
things move along. We are watching Happy but not feeling
confident at this time. Should perhaps know more in three
weeks more????
Things are still slow COLD AND SNOW and no January thaw. We
did go to Harrisburg today to see Sue Ann and Colleen came over and
worked all the dogs. This is a picture of Flint and she is
looking GREAT. Colleen was happy with all the dogs and some
are entered in the early February shows. Hoping for better
weather.
It has been a slow time but just to keep things moving. We
do have one good news from Mary and Gigi was bred this week so three
or four weeks to find out if we are going to have puppies. It
should be a little warmer by then and Mary is excited. Will
keep you informed as things progress. Colleen is going to
California for a conference so no plans for shows. But a big
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all.
This is 9 December and Donna finally got her finish picture of
Quincy. There was a question about the photographer but she
made it. A fantastic finish and it was Tommy's fifth champion
to finish this year. They were a great group and Colleen
really worked all year to get them all finished. Colleen has
one weekend yet this year and not much planned for next year that I
am aware of but we hope Spring will be early. A VERY MERRY
CHRISTMAS TO ALL.
This is Saturday 20 November and some news from Columbus.
It has been a busy time and not much to report but Triadel's
Freemason got a 5 point major today -- now has 13 points and only
needs a major to finish. He just came for the weekend.
Breaker got the RWD on Thursday and Pistol got RWB on Friday.
All were showing well and Colleen was doing her thing. Have
been waiting for a picture from Donna for Quincy's win and
Championship at Tappan Zee. Hope to have more to report.
Back to normal - not yet. Have been getting some of the
pictures off the CD's but it is slow and so much to be done.
This is a picture of Pistol winning her class and she looks awesome
- I think so and Colleen did a great job. Her ears have not
been as good as I would like so up for another month. We are
working on training and Shirley will be taking some classes and
discipline. More later.
This is 13 October and back from the National but so much
catch-up and to get everyone back to normal plus just normal will
take time. Was a small National and so many people just did
not make the trip. Our dogs did good and we were very happy
with how they did in their classes. Colleen worked hard and
did a great job. Below is Ticket with a second in the 12 to 18
class and was a standout. Pistol was outstanding and got many
people to really give her a second look. Will get some of her
pictures on later.
This is 25 September and we got a picture of Dr Lesser and Querva
as she keeps getting more and more titles. She has a couple
more very close. Also got a picture of Flint as Colleen was
working her. She looks great and will put the picture on with
her sisters when they get back home. Before leaving for
Topeka.
Tuesday 21 September and we got the picture of Ticket's win at
Altoona. She looks great and Colleen did a great job as
always. Shirley keeps working with her and the puppies to get
ready for the National -- only a week to get on the road.
Entries are down from usual and a lot of people are not happy with
the location. Lots to do before we leave.
Weekend was great with Ice going WD and Gemmi BOB and on to Group
3 on Saturday and a very nice day. We had some rain Saturday
night but only a little drizzle on Sunday so no problem showing.
Titan took WD and Ticket was WB and Gemmi BOB on Sunday.
It was a very small show but they all looked great. Home in
good time and all is go for the National. Just not time to get
everything done and also get packing etc. done. Will try to
get some puppy pictures before we leave but no promises.
This is September 7 and with all the hot weather and getting
ready for shows and trying to arrange for the National and using a
couple programs I figured how to get Quincy's picture on. It
is a great picture and we are hoping for another major and a great
finish. We are going to small shows in Altoona this weekend
and they always can be a big question with our young dogs.
Will try to let you know the results next week.
This is Tuesday 31 August and back to some of the routine after
the Cleveland weekend. Very nice weather BUT hot in the ring
and DUSTY and dirty outside. Breaker took WD and BOW on
Saturday but the major broke and some hanky panky all weekend.
Ticket looked great and colleen did a great job BUT. We took
puppy pictures -- below -- and they were angles and liked the show
grounds. Surely do need much work before the National.
Still having trouble getting Quincy's picture on from his Major but
will keep trying. Have lots of mowing and getting ready for
winter. More Later.
This is 16 August and a hot and rainy weekend. The shows at
Harrisburg were nice as usual and we went down on Saturday to expose
the puppies and Ticket. The major held but Quincy did not make
it and the puppy took reserve and best puppy. They showed very
well and Gemi went BOS but Gwen did not get breed. BELOW is a
picture of Ticket showing at Canfield -- reach and drive -- and top
line all look great. Colleen was very happy with how she is
showing.
This is Monday 9 August and trying to get back to normal after
the long weekend in Canfield. The two puppies are below -
Pistol top and Sniper below at 18 weeks. Not the best photo
but hot and sunny and bad background. Looking good and moving
great. A SUPER weekend with Gigi finishing with a 4 point
major and Stella finishing with a 3 and 4 point major and Quincy got
his first major 3 points. Ticket took her class all four shows
but Quincy had a sore toe and was excused on Sunday but looked
great. Could not believe it all but Colleen worked it all out
and a FANTASTIC job.
August 4 and we are ready to pull out for shows but wanted to get
this on before we left. Hope we do some good things at the
shows and will report when we get back next week. This is
Titan and his charge. What a wonderful shot and he only needs
majors to finish as a puppy.
This is Sunday 25 July and Pam's litter Sire Ch Triadel's Argon
and Dam Ch Kelview's Delaney v Nova came down to Colleen's for the
ears to be down on Saturday. We went down Friday to see them
and take some pictures. It was a very consistent litter but
each had some changes and Colleen did her job to pick her choices.
Some had tails redone and the others were scheduled. Colleen
will be keeping some and Pam is taking some back to Mass.
Check with Colleen for any information. We were very happy
with results.
Above Pam's Litter -- Black Boy and Orange
Above Pam's Litter -- Green and White
Above Pam's Litter -- Lavender and Blue
Above Pam's Litter -- Yellow
This is Sunday 18 July and things are hot and dry. We had
some inside time and took pictures of the two girls at 16 weeks.
They are getting bigger and tall for Shirley to show them on the
table but we did manage. They are looking good and moving fine
and very active even in the heat. Both are loosing teeth and
ears are coming along fine. Hope Colleen will get to see them
this week.
Happy "July 4" to everyone. It is a GREAT DAY here a little
warm but bright and sunny. We took pictures of the girls on
Saturday 13 weeks and they are looking very good and getting into
more trouble every day. Joe and CinDee showed Fever and took
RWB and was out handled. Titan was shown -- ringside said he
should have won -- but was also out-handled. Not sure about
today?
This is Monday and a great weekend report. Mary showed Gigi
at a show in her area and got WB which singles her out and she only
needs her last major to finish. That gives Tommy four
champions and Quincy needs to finish too.
This is 25 June and the kids are 12 weeks old today. We
were down to see Sue Ann yesterday and Colleen came over and we took
pictures of all four. Flint has been doing great and has
settled in and plays with the other puppies and has been no problem
with her situation. All four are growing and changing from
week to week and we have to keep looking back to the eight week
evaluation as to what we expect in a year of changes week to week.
Cannon will be leaving for his new home on Sunday and Pistol and
Sniper will be settling in for the summer. The pictures are
top down -- Pistol, Sniper, Flint and Cannon.
Below are pictures of the kids today Tuesday. Sally took
the picture of Flint "at work" on Monday and she looks at home and
ear taping "professional". The other three were relaxing on
the patio as usual. They are growing and very active -- we
loose "Cannon" on Sunday and will only have the two girls for the
Summer. Some showers today but should be a hot week. May
get more pictures Thursday.
This is 19 June and they were 11 weeks yesterday and we went to
Harrisburg for Colleen to check their progress and give them a
little new experiences. They were great and Colleen set them
up and likes all of them. Not all the same but move great and
adapted to the new surroundings very well. Ears are doing
fine. Word from Flint -- Michael has spoiled her this week --
and Sue Ann will have a training problem with both of them. We
plan to see her Thursday and may get a picture. Shows this
weekend in the HEAT but we hope to do something.
June 9 and we have them all on posts but they are not easy.
So active and they bounce around and knock a cup off and play
take-away. Not as healed as usual but are now under control.
They keep looking good and are all chunks. Michael is coming
Monday to pick up Flint. Shirley will be at shows on the
weekend. More later.
WOW I just got the Finnish photo of Rupert and he really looks
the Champion we all knew from his puppy shows and right through his
final shows. Really so proud of him and all the hard work of
everyone involved to the finish. Colleen had such faith always
but it takes a lot of putting it all together from week to week.
We are praying Ed finds the answer to his back problem. I had
computer -- aol problems -- and with all the changes necessary
for the change to speed it is slow. More later.
This is Tuesday 1 June and into Summer as it was a very hot
weekend and I had a lot of outside work to do and not much computer
time. I will try to give an overview of the weekend but it is
all second hand and sorry if I missed some or Shirley says I get it
all wrong. Gemmi took BOS on most of the days Gigi took a 4
pt. one day and Stella took her second major on Monday. Quincy
took a couple shows to get into it but went RWD one day and up in
his class. Generally it sounded like they all had a good time
and not rain etc. as it can be muddy on the fairgrounds. EARS
ARE DONE and all went smooth and all are doing GREAT. Thanks
to Teri who came and was a BIG HELP. They are a little
sensitive when eating together but are getting use to it all and
they are long but with high ear sets they should stand if the
aftercare is good. Hope to get pictures later this week.
This is Thursday and below are the four GGG -- GUN litter.
They are changing but are looking very nice and will be anxious to
get the pictures after the ears are done as the head and neck will
be so different. Everyone is on the road to the big show
weekend and I hope to be reporting what is happening.
May get more names but Orange will be "Flint".
This is Wednesday and Colleen brought the picture of Argon
and also the picture when she showed Titan in Harrisburg. Both
look great and an extra -- Argon's litter arrived and Pam has seven
lively and big puppies. We took the eight week pictures of our
four and getting ready to do ears on the weekend. Will try to
get the puppy pictures on as soon as I get time to sort as I took a
lot of shots.
Sunday 23 and another champion for Tommy. Argon took BO for
his finish today and Gemmi went BOB in Virginia. Stella took reserve so a great
weekend. I hope to get a picture when Colleen comes up to
grade the puppies at eight weeks and before they have ears done next
weekend. More and puppy pictures Wednesday.
This is 22 May and Rupert finished his championship today in
Virginia. The picture below is one of his major wins as he
will probably be on vacation when the finishing picture is
available. Colleen also took the breed with Gemmi. Hope
they have good luck tomorrow and I will keep reporting.
This is 19 May and we made time late last night to take some
pictures of the 6 weeks to keep you up on the changes. They
grew some leg and bodied up some and are looking very nice.
They should get the ears done in two weeks and that will change the
whole picture. Still waiting for the new picture of Niko.
The boys did not do it on Sunday but Gemmi took the breed again
over one of the big winning specials here in the east. Titan
went BOW on Sunday in Ohio and only needs his majors and 2 pts. from
the 6 to 9 mo. class -- owner handled. Hope he does well in
Cincinnati.
Saturday and Colleen had a ball game but Triadel's Free Mason
"Titan" went WD at Tallmadge Ohio show owner handled. Things
are a lot easier with a little speed. Will report tomorrow.
This is Friday 14 and I just got Verizon high speed and it is all
a mystery so far and I have to keep trying things. Colleen got
a RWD on Rupert and took the breed with Gemmi. Hope the do
better tomorrow.
This is 11 May and back to winter. The puppies are not
happy with the wet and cold -- ice on the water dishes in the
morning. We did get some pictures and they have changed but
are still baiting and Shirley has Band-Aids before gloves.
Still looking and moving good and running and playing in the sun.
They need Colleen to set them up and make them look their best.
Out of the whelping box and on dog food. Mother is looking
more normal but needs weight and coat help. More next week.
This is May 2 and we took some 4 week pictures below. Last
weekend was good as Argon got the major on Saturday and Ticket took
a point on Monday after many of the dogs left. Stella looked
great and Gigi was in super form but the judges had their own
choices. Rupert also was in great form but could not get that
last point. They are postponing their Summer in Sicily to try
and finish so keep your flingers crossed. Quincy took RWD
today but Gwen still took it all. Puppies are eating slop and
getting off mother -- she is not so happy. Puppies were very
difficult and are super batters so Shirley has to wear gloves and
has bloody fingers -- need a good handler.
April 23 and the babies are 3 weeks and can see and hear.
They are up on their feet and playing and reacting to each other and
know where mother is so she stays away for more than they like.
Shirley is at shows and will report on the weekend after the Monday
show when she will go and pick up Ticket. Will try to do some
slopping to give mother some rest.
This is 20 April and a Monday show but a GREAT WEEKEND as we took
WD in all three shows and two majors. Saturday Rupert went WD
for a major and Dax took RWD from the 9 to 12 class. Stella
took RWB and Gemmi was BOS. Sunday was similar with Rupert WD
for second major 4pts and Stella RWB with Gemmi BOS. Monday
numbers went way down but Triadel's Free Mason "Titan" took WD from
9 to 12 class and Gemmi was BOB. All the dogs Colleen showed
were very competitive and Rupert needs only one point to finish.
The puppies are growing so fast -- four ounces a day -- eyes open
and should be hearing in a couple days. Time to slop and give
mother some rest.
This is 11 April and the puppies are just over a week old.
Colleen came up on Tuesday and did the tails and dewclaws which are
healing fine. We did loose the yellow string girl the third
day so just four now. Shirley is not happy with the pictures
-- not as cute as they really are. She does their exercises
every day and they all react to the socialization. Some great
news as Roxann took Tommy to the Cardiac Clinic along with Snap on
Saturday and they both passed with no problems and the Dr. was
impressed and felt with Snap -- after his third year -- would be not
having any heart problems. We should do a Holter on Tommy and take
her to the Clinic next year she is almost five. .
This is 3 April and the puppies were born last night with no
problems and mother and puppies are doing fine. All went very
routine and all are about 1 pound and very active as you can see.
Four girls and one boy -- Purple string. I will put mother and
kids on the puppy page and try to keep things posted. HAPPY
EASTER.
Tuesday 30 March and we had Happy to vet for an X-ray yesterday
and we expect six puppies for sure but a question as to seven --
will wait to see we hope this weekend. We will keep you
informed as to sex but we hope all red.
WHAT A WEEKEND! Colleen was in Edison New Jersey for three
shows. Quincy took WD the first day and Rupert went RWD all
three days. Stella was RWB the first day and took WB second
and third day. Gemmi took BOB the second day and Group 2 but
another bitch showed up only third day for that judge and Gemmi
walked. There was a two day show in Pittsburg and Triadel's
Free Mason "Titan" took BOW both days from 9 to 12 class and
Triadel's Saturday Night Fever " Fever" took WB Sunday. They
were all two point shows which made it a 12 point weekend.
Also to top it off Argon bred Pam's bitch three times -- they could
not get her bred before. More later.
This is March 24 and Happy is looking very normal for an average
litter. We have not felt any movement yet but she is getting
more uncomfortable and is always hungry. We try to not get her
fat and she gets some high protein like eggs and liver. She is
out quite a bit in the sun and runs and very active. I hope we
will get an X-ray in about a week and will have a reasonable count
but not on sex. Things are very Spring here and getting some
things planted and seeds growing but still expect frost so at least
a few weeks before we get things outside for good. Colleen is
going to shows this weekend but not majors but judges look better
than most and good luck for Sally in obedience. More later.
This is March 14 and we may be thinking Spring and we are pretty
sure Happy is having puppies about Easter Sunday. Not sure how
many but an all red litter -- we hope no dilution but cannot tell so
wait and see. Colleen was at shows in TN and got a major on
Stella at the specialty under Connie Alexander but the rest of the
weekend was a real bust and the judges could only see faces and
fixes so she came home early. Dogs showed great and looked
super but nothing. I have pictures on the GGG litter puppy
page.
This is 28 February and still cold and snowy. We got the
pictures from the major wins in Indianapolis so hope the computer
cooperates. I have not been able to get any e-mail today.
No shows for a couple weekends and Shirley is staying home for a
while until Colleen has another opening for a girl -- Ticket is
ready but not as well trained as she should be but I think is
looking great. Not sure about Happy yet but will let you know
when she starts to say something.
This is 17 February and the Helie picture from Sand and Sea show
came yesterday so will add it. It was her first major and with
the blizzard they only showed one day as the roads were closed for
two days. Looks like no snow for a few days but still winter
and no chance to plan Spring. More soon.
FLASH with the news Helie finished today with BOW 5 point major
and a Valentines Day present. MOTHERS picture below. The
boys are looking good but Helie has been really on and winning every
show. Gemmi took the breed so they are staying for he Group.
That makes it so late so they are staying over and coming home in
the daylight Monday.
We will try to keep more up to date -- this is February 12 and
the girls are in Indianapolis and they had dry roads going out and
sun today. Big change from the past few weeks. Below is
a picture from one of the two shows Helie took BOW in Virginia.
She took BOW the one day they got to the show in New Jersey last
week -- a major. She also took BOW for her second major today
in Indiana. She only needs a couple singles to finish.
The boys were acting up today but we hope will be under control
tomorrow.
It has been a long time -- this is 9 January and the girls are at
shows in Tallmadge Ohio for the weekend. I tried to get
something on yesterday but I could not keep connected and could not
save anything. I hope it is better today. Argon went BOW
yesterday, Helie did nothing and Colleen went BOS with Gemmi.
That singled Argon out and he now needs his majors. Today
Rupert went BOW, Helie was RWB and Gemmi BOB. They were
waiting for the Group so I will know tomorrow. I tried to get
Rupert's win picture from Cleveland but for some reason my program
cannot format zip files and I need jpg to get into my programs.
More tomorrow.
This is Saturday 12 December and no luck in Cleveland so far --
the judges are not judging dogs from the reports but things are
going ok just hope the weather holds until they get back Sunday.
Below is the picture of Quincy winning 2 pts. at he Gettysburg show
last week. He is looking great. More if we hear
anything.
This is Sunday 6 December and Colleen came up to see her puppies
and do the dew claws and tails. All went smoothly and a great
lunch by Roxann. Colleen brought the picture of Argon winning
a major in Fitchburg last month with Pam handling. She also
reported on her wins at Gettysburg on Saturday. Quincy took
two points and she took WB with the bitch she was showing. We
had our first snow but a sunny day and they were getting set to go
to the Cleveland shows this weekend -- sounds like storms to me.
Thursday 19 November and the puppies are 21` weeks old this week
and Colleen stopped and looked them over and set them up on her way
to the Springfield shows. It was wet and rainy but they got
things packed and were on their way a little after one. We
used the wicket on Argon and he was right on 27 1/2 inches. He
looks great so hope they do some winning. Heli is ready but
such an active soul. Will put something on if it happens.
I will put the puppy pictures on the FFF liatter 21 week page.
Sunday 15 November and the girls are on the way home. Below
is a picture of Rupert from the Bloomsburg shows. Ed sent them
and I am not the best in getting them in the right programs to put
on the site. The results at Columbus was the same. The
puppies won their class every day but the judges went with the more
mature dogs. Colleen took the breed two days but the heavies
were in the group. Hope they do better next weekend.
This is 13 November and the picture of Heli just came from the
Back Mt. show and I am way behind in all the news of late.
Shirley and Colleen are at Columbus this weekend and Gemini took BOB
the first day. Colleen did very well in Mass. last week when
she finished Gemini with two majors and five points on Argon -- one
a major. Will report more on Columbus when I hear.
This is Thursday 5 November and the "ONCE IN A LIFETIME" picture
is on the web site. We were really stunned and still cannot
believe it all happened. We have really been breeding for such
a thing for over 50 years but never expecting to make the whole
thing possible. We have bred almost 60 champions over the
years with limited breeding and showing and things just all came
together. We owe so much to Colleen who saw Tommy as a puppy
and believed in her and the two were really bonded and they both
showed to the limit. She had puppies last year and five are
pointed at 12 months and we had two at the National where they took
a few ribbons and looked great. More later.
This is Wednesday 4 November and the pictures arrived yesterday
and below is the class win for Helium at the National show.
She looked spectacular and Colleen did a fantastic job and Heli is
almost push button -- a great team. I will try to get the BOB
shot of Tommy on this week which will be the climax of all the
showing for the 10 days at the National.
This is Tuesday 27 October and rushing to get the RV ready for
the local club show this weekend. We cannot show Friday but
will show the Saturday and Sunday shows. These are the
Futurity wins which was really great. We have not gotten the
BOB pictures but hope they will come this week and Heli's First in
the show which is excellent but it got lost in the scuffle.
Still cannot believe it all happened.
This is Friday 23 October and things are still not back to normal
here and our club show is next weekend so more confusion. We
really cannot believe what happened but are so proud of our dogs and
Colleen who has been so supportive in every way. Below is the
picture of Heli's placement in the Regional Show. She showed
so well and we were so happy with the placement. I did order
the BOB pictures but they were busy and not sure when they would get
to them. We still both have colds and got flu shots today.
This is 19 October and back from the National. It was a
fantastic time and Colleen and the dogs were just great. Will
try to get one picture on every day but will not get the BOB
pictures for a week or so. We had entered the puppies in
Futurity and Colleen was very up on doing something at the show.
We planned to show the puppies but we could not leave mother home
when taking the RV so we entered her in breed. Colleen has
always believed in her. Puppies did great with the competition
and we did not expect what happened -- Colleen played to
win and did go BOB with Tommy. What a surprise and the crowd
went wild. Lots of Congratulations but we were stunned.
More pictures later.
This is 4 October and a day of catching up after two long and
active days at the shows. Friday was not really great but
Quincy took his class and Rupert was second -- both looked great and
showed like veterans. Helie took a second and Gemini a second
also. We were not feeling great about the judging but they
looked like winners. Saturday was a better judge and she
really judged dogs and Rupert won his class over Quincy but his
handler was at another show so had a sub. Helium won her class
and looked super and Gemini went second to WB. Tommy was in
BOB and looked fantastic and had some old timers making comments and
asking questions Colleen did a fantastic job. Below is a
snapshot of Rupert -- not the best photography -- and he is looking
great. Colleen is very excited to get him better trained and
in some smaller shows for experience. Hoping to leave for the
National on Wednesday so quiet for a couple weeks.
Just a little news and no puppy pictures this week as we just put
on the ones from Altoona and may get some on next week as they are
really growing. Below is the picture of Quincy with his win a
couple weeks ago. We also heard from Ralph and Willie has his
Canadian Championship with some Group wins. Bobby is doing
fine but not showing. Rupert should be home from Italy next
week and we hope to show on the Devon weekend as some of the others
from that litter. All getting primed for the National in
October. Colleen is all UP UP UP for the week. We hope
to get together tomorrow at Sue Ann's for a final ok.
This is September 8 and we had a very good weekend at Altoona.
Saturday Argon took WD and BOW, Helie took WB and Dagger went BOB.
The judge was very good and judged dogs. Sunday Argon took BOW
again and Gigi went WB and the Bitch went BOB as the judge passed it
out so handlers all got a piece. The weather was super and
Mary did most of the cooking so great food. Joe and CinDee
came and they showed Fever who has really matured and looked great.
Took a snap shot of Argon and also below is a shot of the puppies as
they spent the weekend out in the shade.
Just a quick note on Friday 21 August as Shirley is getting ready
for shows. I have the 8 week pictures on the FFF puppy page.
They were very tired from the workout but we got something to show
at 8 weeks. Shirley and Colleen decided not to use the RV as
all the rain makes it dangerous and not good for the dogs to have to
stay in crates most of the time. They are reporting heavy rain
and wind storms in the area. Mary did get another point on
Gigi last weekend but they are off for a few weeks.
This is Saturday 8 August and Colleen was here yesterday and gave
me the picture of Argon's win at Bald Eagle last month. He
really looks great and such a sweet boy. He came with her to
run with his sister on the hill. Colleen set up the puppies
for their six week pictures and I hope to get them on the litter
page today. They have changed but still not anxious to stand
still but they look great. We hope to get some seven week
shots but they should have ears done and cups for eight weeks.
This is Friday and Donna sent me the picture of Quincy's win at
Nita Nee show when he won both days and went BOS on Sunday. I
hope to get the 5 week pictures on the Puppy page of the FFF litter
today.
This is Wednesday 29 July and the BOW pictures from Nita Nee came
today. They were both pretty good and very similar but this
was cropped better and not quite so busy with background. I
have the puppy 4 week pictures on the FFF puppy page.
This is Saturday 25 July and Shirley is in Bloomsburg at the
shows. Friday Argon took his first point -- first show -- and
Gigi won the class and they all were fine and looked great.
Today Quincy was there and took the dog point and Colleen took WB
with her bitch and Dagger took breed. Shirley will not show
tomorrow but the others will so we hope they do their thing.
Below are the FFF litter at 4 weeks. They all seem great and
Colleen did a great job getting them to stay still and not anything
we do not like at this stage but they will change in the next four
weeks. Will get them on the litter page when I have more time.
This is Sunday 19 July and a fabulous weekend for Triadel at the
Nita Nee show. Saturday Shirley and Helie went WB and BOW for
a point and Quincy went WD for a point. The first point on
both of them. Sunday Helie and Shirley did it again WB and BOW
but Quincy went WD and BO. It was a small show and a lot of
dogs absent but both of them looked great and showed like veterans.
Hope they can do something next weekend. I was home with the
little ones and they are getting noisy and almost ready to be off
mother. Will be a couple weeks for pictures.
Friday 17 th July and sorry I am not getting more action but just
to much to do and so much time playing and tending to the wonderful
group of seven. Here are a couple pictures and they are all
walking and hear and see so much activity but they will not stay
still for a picture. Shirley is going to shows on the weekend
and I will give a report the first of the week. Colleen will
pass on the last of her litter this weekend and then next weekend is
our show so a very busy couple weeks. Will be in touch.
Just a couple of puppies on the 4th of July. Shirley is
helping with ears on Colleen's litter and I am keeping things in
order around here. Not much work done outside as inside
control is number one. Puppies are all doing great and Glory
has lots of milk right now but there are a few pigs that seem to get
the most. A beautiful day and hope everyone has a great day.
Just a quick note Sunday. Roxann and Wayne came up and we
did tails and dew claws this afternoon. Teri was camping in NY
so Roxy did the job and can attest to the fact they were all strong
and loud for the procedure. Back with mother and all is quiet.
This is Friday 26 June and having computer problems but will keep
trying. We took Colleen's babies down on Monday. They
slept all the way and seems to not know of a change but it took
Colleen several days to get connected and know they were her babies.
We miss them as they were a super litter and a lot of fun. We
only had a day to get things cleaned and set for Glory who delivered
on Wednesday. She had no problems and about the easiest
delivery we can remember. We did have seven 5 boys 4 black and 1 red
-- 2 black girls. X-rays are difficult when they are all
bunched together. They are all strong and started
nursing and all about 1 pound and not loosing much but not the
amount of milk Dynasty had. Will keep checking them. I
do have the FFF litter up and a day old picture and will keep most
of the information on the puppy page.
